During my time at Caterpillar Inc. (BCP), I took full ownership of the UI design for the next-generation Skid Steer Loader (SSL), leading ideation from the ground up. I also contributed to the Compact Track Loader (CTL) and partnered with Wheel Loader and Small Tractor teams, collaborating with UX architects, engineers, and developers to ensure consistency across product groups.

Research & Accessibility
I participated in usability and ergonomic testing sessions, including seat positioning and operator comfort studies, contributing an operator's perspective to the research. I also applied legible typography and appropriately sized text using the design system's standards, supporting clear in-cab visibility for operators.

My Process
Used Miro for early ideation, then Figma for wireframes, concepts, and interactive prototypes.
Presented design rationale in reviews with engineering, product, and commercial stakeholders before developer handoff.
Design System
Worked within Caterpillar's established design system, selecting iconography and components and requesting new ones when gaps existed.
The system itself was managed by a dedicated framework team.
